- Where can I find the instruction manual?
- The instruction manual is here in English and Spanish
- What are the optimal compressor/air pressure settings?
- Setting the air compressor between 20-70PSI controls the fineness of splatter exiting the tip of your sprayer. Higher pressure on the compressor gives finer spray, lower pressure on the compressor give coarser spray. Setting the regulator on the TexPro sprayer itself between 5-20PSI controls the volume of texture being pushed toward the tip. Higher pressure through the sprayer regulator pushes out more texture for heavier splatter, lower pressure through the sprayer regulator pushes out less texture for finer splatter.
- Here are three combinations recommended by Pros to get you started:
- Fine Pattern
- Compressor = 60 PSI
- Spray Tip = #2
- Sprayer Regulator = 4-9 PSI
- Medium Pattern
- Compressor = 40-50 PSI
- Spray Tip = #2
- Sprayer Regulator = 6-10 PSI
- Heavy Pattern
- Compressor = 35 PSI
- Spray Tip = #2
- Sprayer Regulator = 8-12 PSI

- Why isn’t my sprayer working?
- If your sprayer will not start to spray, check the following:
- Is Air Shut-Off Valve ON?
- Is seal in cartridge punctured?
- Increase regulator adjustment until spray starts (Pressure on sprayer gauge reads 5-20 (MAX) psi.)
- Remove Spray Tip. Clean and clear clog from front nozzle.
- Ensure rear gasket installed and properly seated.
- Replace Texture Cartridge.

- What is the difference between light and heavy texture?
- TexPro Light Texture Orange Peel is a light-bodied formula that creates more subtle looks on the wall compared to Heavy Texture. TexPro Heavy Texture Orange Peel and Knockdown is a heavy-bodied formula that creates more dimension on the wall compared to Light Texture. TexPro Light Texture is best in cooler temperatures (40-75°F), and Heavy Texture is best in warmer temperatures (60°F+).
- How long can I store the texture in the sprayer if it’s already open but not used?
- If resuming spray activity within 3 hours used cartridges may be left in sprayer. To prevent drying and clogging of texture in nozzle, install the rubber cover.
- Can I use this outside?
- TexPro is only for use on indoor drywall
- Can I spray this over existing texture?
- Yes, when texturing over a patch or abutting a newly textured section of wall into an a section previously textured, lightly “feather” the spray over the existing texture to blend the sections seamlessly together.
- Do I need to prime before texturing?
- Yes, always prime unpainted drywall and patches before texturing to help ensure an even gloss and uniform appearance of the final paint coating.
- Do I need to prime the texture before painting?
- Priming the applied texture before painting is recommended to help ensure the gloss and appearance of the patched area matches the surrounding surface.
- Do I need to paint the texture after applying it?
