This portable, professional model features polycarbonate body with brass inserts for easy disassembly. HOW DOES IT WORK?

The Homax Texture Gun allows you to manually control pressure and pattern to create an invisible repair. The unique gun creates a wide variety of wall and ceiling textures that replaces the need for using a compressor & hopper gun or other non-conventional methods. The hand pump along with the Adjustment Lever determines the pressure or distance the pattern will travel. The Front Plate will control size and volume of the spray pattern.

IDEAL FOR:

  • Retexturing damaged popcorn ceiling textures
  • Small or hard-to-reach areas such as closets, skylights, etc.
  • Areas where power might not be accessible

Directions

The Homax® Texture Gun is designed to replicate commercially applied orange peel & knockdown drywall texture patterns. After spraying, surface should be painted to desired color.

NOTE: If spraying “popcorn” ceiling texture, prime surface white before texturing. It should not be necessary to paint popcorn texture after application.

  1. SNAP gun onto hopper.
  2. ADJUST settings for desired texture pattern.
  3. SPRAY texture onto surface.
  4. IF DESIRED, knock down texture with Homax Knockdown Knife or mud knife.
  5. PAINT surface after allowing texture to dry.
