I spread it all over my plywood floor before applying vinyl adhesive tiles thinking it would act as an embossing agent. Now, how do I get it off?
It does not act as an embossing agent. To remove it, DO NOT SAND. Strip it off using full strength TSP No Rinse Substitute.
If you use Floor Patch & Level and then want to use self-sticking tiles, will it work if they use the Adhesive Primer or do they need to remove the Patch & Level with TSP No Rinse Substitute?
Self-stick tiles require a glass smooth surface to adhere. Using Adhesive Primer only helps reduce the porosity. If the surface is not smooth enough, they may need to use an adhesive to stick the tiles.
I would like to use this product on my chiminea, which is a ceramic outdoor heating device that you use on your patio. Is the product heat proof?
I would not suggest you use this product. The high heat temperatures would adversely effect the compound which holds it all together.
Can the product be painted over after dried? If so do I need to prime?
Yes, it can be painted over and there is no need to prime.
Can the product be thinned with water to make it more pourable?
No, do not thin the material. You will lose important qualities such as adhesion and hardness.
The product is curling up when being applied. It is following the knife as I put the product down. Is the product too dry?
You will need to wet the tools.
When working in an area where there is a hot water heater & a boiler, what should be done?
It is always correct to extinguish any pilot lights/flames in an area where you are working with any chemical compond.
