Frequently Asked Questions
Is the cloth reusable?
Yes. The 7” x 11” cloth can be reused if kept in the sealed container between uses. The product can last up to 4 years.
The cloth isn’t working on my stain. Why not?
The product is ineffective if stain marks are through the finish and into the wood. These are usually dark marks.
Does the White Ring Remover contain silicone?
No. It does not contain silicone.
When I used it on my table, which has a matte finish, it lightered up the mark, but also caused the surface to become shiny. What happened?
The consumer "burnished" the finish. She rubbed too hard and it shined up that spot. Regular cleaning will even out the surface. You do not need to rub hard with the White Ring Remover
Can the White Ring Remover be used on any type of wood, teak, oak, and pine, etc…?
Yes it can.
Why is it not recommended to use on polyurethane finishes?
Polyurethane finishes can tend to be very thick, and they are synthetic. Most white rings come form moisture being trapped under the wax and polish on wood. The White Ring Remover helps draw the moisture through these finishes, but would not work properly on a synthetic finish.
What is active ingredient, in White Ring Remover?
Mineral oil and fullers earth. The fullers earth acts as an abrasive.
