
Instructions
Liquid Application:
- Use protective gloves and eye goggles. Unscrew cap slowly so vapors can escape.
- Pour some remover into a wide mouth can, jar or follow spray instructions.
- With an old or inexpensive new brush, flow or brush on a generous coat in one direction only. Do not brush back and forth. Do a small area (6-sq. ft.) at a time.
- Allow to set 5-15 minutes or until surface is blistered.
- Remove finish with water, spatula, steel wool, or cloth while surface is wet.
- Apply additional coats, if necessary, until you reach original surface.
- Rub clean, let dry thoroughly, and apply new finish.
Spray Application:
- Use a solvent resistant spray applicator or bottle. Protect surrounding area form overspray.
- Adjust nozzle to spray on an even coat.
- When finished, pump residual remover back into can and replace cap.
- Rinse spray equipment in warm, soapy water, pumping trigger several times to clean tubing and sprayer.
- Allow to set 5-15 minutes or until surface is blistered.
- Remove finish with water, spatula, steel wool, or cloth while surface is wet.
- Apply additional coats, if necessary, until you reach original surface.
- Rub clean, let dry thoroughly, and apply new finish.
To Remove Most Stains: After finish has been removed, apply thin coat of Liquid Paint Remover, let set for 10-15 minutes, and scrub wood with No. 2 steel wool.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. High quality removers are chemically active and may rust cans and leak after prolonged storage. Close cap tightly and store in upright position after each use and before transporting.
Warnings:
- Poison: Contains Methylene Chloride and Methanol
- Methylene chloride has been shown to cause cancer in certain laboratory animals. Risk to your health depends on level and duration of exposure.
- Use this product outdoors if possible. If you must use it indoors, open all windows and doors or use other means to assure fresh air movement during application and drying, as dust mask does not provide protection against vapors.
- Do not use in basement or other unventilated areas.
- Open container carefully and close after each use. Clean up rags, papers, and waste promptly. Allow solvent to evaporate. Dispose of in metal can.
- Keep away from heat and flame. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
- Keep out of reach of children.
First Aid:
If swallowed, immediately give 1 or 2 glasses of water and call a Physician, Hospital Emergency Room or Poison Control Center for way to induce vomiting. In case of eye contact, immediately flush with water and call a Physician. For skin contact, wash thoroughly with cold water and call a physician if irritation persists.
