How do I get the wall patch to stick to the wall? The wall patch has it’s own self-adhesive backing.
Why do I have to use a patching compound on the back of the patch when it has the mesh on it to hold the patch on it? It is to strengthen the adhesion for the steel has a little weight. It also reduces the chance of air getting locked in between the wall and patch while spackling.
How long do I need to let the compound dry? Refer to the manufactures recommendations, usually 24 hours.
Are the wall patches available in larger sizes? No. The largest size is the 8 x 8
