Prep & Primer

Instructions
- Wire brush or sand scaling paint, dirt, on loose or heavily rusted areas (tight rust needs not be removed). Use paint thinner for oil and grease.
- For sensitive skin or prolonged exposure, wear rubber gloves and protective mask.
- Apply Prep & Primer directly to metal by brush, roller, mop or low-pressure spray. Heavy rust may need two applications.
- Rusted and Old Metal: Wait over night; dust off any powder, prime then paint. Oil-base primer and paint are recommended on any metal. Test a small area for compatibility when using epoxy or latex paint.
- Galvanized: Oil-based paint can be applied when Prep & Primer is dry. Latex paint can be applied when Prep & Primer is thoroughly rinsed off within 30-60 minutes, or after an oil-base primer is applied to a dry surface.
- Rub clean, let dry thoroughly and apply new finish.
- Protect plants, concrete, masonry and paint from overspray and flush immediately with water if contact is made.
- Clean application equipment with water.
- Do no use an airless sprayer or dilute this product.
- Do not use when temperature is below 36° F.
- Storage: Close cap tightly and store in upright position after each use and before transporting.
Warnings:
- Caution: Irritant. Contains phosphoric acid, dichromate, extenders and wetting agents.
- Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin. Wash hands after using. In case of contact with eyes, flush with cold water and call physician immediately.
- Use with adequate ventilation.
- Keep out of reach of children.
