Troubleshooting

The rubber coating has bubbles in it, why?

Bubbles in the finished product are cause by dipping or removing the substrate from the can too quickly.

Rubberize-It was applied to a pair of oars that had recently been coated with several applications of polyurethane. It peeled off, taking the poly with it, why?

Was the polyurethane water based? If so, it would not have the solvent resistance to stand up to the solvents in Rubberize-IT. The aromatic solvents in our product have attacked the other coating.

Prop. 65 Warning

Pertains to Toluene. Only present in its wet stage, Toluene is used to help evaporate the material into a solid. Would have to have continual exposure to raw Toluene in unventilated area. See Prop 65 warning.
