Tub Surround Seal

Instructions

Surface Preparation: Remove loose, protruding, or mildewed caulk. Thoroughly clean surface of surround at tub joint with an all-purpose cleaner, paying special attention to faucet wall and below soap dish; rinse clean. Use rubbing alcohol for final cleaning of surface to which Tub Surround Seal will bond. Allow surfaces to dry thoroughly.

  1. For the tub surround with rounded corners, carefully measure continuous three-wall length of tub surround at tub joint for one-piece installation. Cut Tub Surround Seal accordingly.

    - Beginning at one end, remove the first few inches of film, and press trim gently into place flat against the wall, taking care not to stretch product.

For the tub surround with 90° angled corners, apply in three separate strips. Measure back wall and cut Tub Surround Seal to size.

    - Remove the first few inches of film, pressing trim gently into place at one end. Continue to release film and press the trim firmly against tub and wall joint, along entire length of wall. Avoid stretching product. Measure the short (side) dimensions of the tub. Cut Tub Surround Seal to measurement, apply and press.
  2. After installation, run your fingers firmly over the complete length to ensure good adhesion and watertight seal. Do not allow water contact for 24 hours following installation.
