Instructions
Surface Preparation: Remove all previously applied caulk. If necessary, mineral spirits/paint thinner may be used to soften any remaining particles of caulk. Thoroughly clean using a household cleanser to remove caulk residue, soap film, mildew, dust or dirt, and rinse clean. IMPORTANT: Use rubbing alcohol for final cleaning of surfaces. Allow surfaces to dry thoroughly.
- Peel off approximately 12 inches of backing paper and press into place leaving 1” of excess material at beginning.
- Do Not stretch, pull or rub hand along strip while applying. Simply press lightly into place.
- Continue to peel the backing paper off and apply leaving a 1” piece longer than required at both beginning and end of project.
- Once entire strip is in place, go back over entire surface pressing firmly into seam to ensure good adhesion and watertight seal. Do not allow water contact for 24 hours.
Note: Fixture Caulk is slightly wider on one side of the strip. For professional results, install with the wider side positioned on the vertical surface (or toward the water source) and place the narrow side atop the other perpendicular surface.
