Where To Use

Homax Wall Patch can be used to fix damaged walls and ceilings, on both drywall and plaster, for a permanent repair.

Directions

Homax® Steel Wall Patch helps you create a strong, permanent repair. A superior patch for door knob holes and high traffic areas where repeat offenses could occur.

Materials Required:

  • Sandpaper
  • Spackling or joint compound
  • 3-6” Drywall Knife
  • Gloves
  • Dust mask

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Lightly sand around hole and wipe clean. Remove backing paper from patch.
  2. Apply patching compound to metal side of wall patch and press firmly over hole.
  3. Cover entire patch with compound feathering edges outward.
  4. Allow to dry, then lightly sand smooth. Repeat as necessary.

For Textured Walls: Use Homax Orange Peel and Knockdown aerosol spray textures to blend in your repair with the surrounding surface.
