How to Refinish a Tub, Sink or Tile

Is your 1950’s mauve tub clashing with the latest home décor trends? Or, is your white porcelain sink badly stained and discolored? Rather than incurring the hassle and cost of replacing costly bathroom fixtures (not to mention the mess it creates), you can refinish them yourself to a bright white finish that will last for years.

Tough as Tile® finish is a durable, long lasting coating, requiring no mixing of a base resin and hardener like traditional epoxies. Preparation is key to a successful finish. Take care to read instructions thoroughly before you begin.

1. Clean and prep - following the instructions on the product, make sure your tile surface is clean to provide a smooth, prepared surface for your refinish.

2. Mask the area with painters tape - This will prevent your project from spilling out into the surrounding bathroom space.

3. Paint - All that's left is to apply Tough as Tile to the surface and let dry. In general, curing takes 48 hours.

See all packaging instructions for drying and curing times, as well as environmental factors that can affect drying and curing.
