Tough As Tile Epoxy Finish, Brush On, White 3.2 5 21 21
Wow what a difference This stuff might smell but Wow what a difference afterwards. I might add that the instructions were easy to understand and the application with a brush was easy; however, I used a longer handled 2 inch brush rather than the short handled brush that came with the package. My friends can't believe it's the same bathtub. October 26, 2014
Worked beyond our expectations We are putting our house on the market and we had a discolored bathtub. We followed the directions to the "T" and were pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness of this product. It dries to a hard shine and performed beyond our expectations. September 29, 2014
definitely not for sink...wish i'd read other reviews ahead of time this is definitely not for a kitchen sink. i followed all directions, waited MORE than 96 hrs before even putting a drop of water in the sink. It looked terrific...I was so impressed, until we washed dishes and the epoxy dented and peeled. Um, a pot filled with water is much lighter than a human in a bath tub, not sure why this product would last longer in a bath tub than in the kitchen after a single use...just a soap dish left a dent and caused the surface to peel. maybe the spray on would have worked better? too late now...will likely replace the sink after all September 19, 2014
good product but don't use the cleaner in the package This finish is as good as any the key is preparing the surface I use acetone to clean the surface and bubble up any loose paint then sand with 80 grit to scratch the surface up then hit it again with 120 grit to smooth it out then vacuum and paint don't let the first coat dry too much no more than an hour and if you can use the spray for the second coat it as pro as you can get August 13, 2014
Tough as Wax On the box it should say: for aesthetic purposes only and not recommended for kitchen sink instead misrepresenting this product as " tough as tile". It is softer then any kid's acrylic paint and it is so disappointing after a major job done to discover that we can't even pour water into the sink and the "tough as tile" just applied would spot or dent only with water pressure, do I have to tell if the water is warm or hot? I think you can just imagine that! The thing is that years ago I used this product and it used to come in a 2 parts mix kit and I used it on bath tubs, the fact of mixing the hardener into the paint made a big difference in hardness and it was pretty close to ceramic finish and very resistant to baths or showers. But this new product is not absolutely even close at that level , With a fraction of its price can be purchased any regular enamel with better result. August 5, 2014
Good but a few bugs As with any paint project prep is the key. I thoroughly prepped my tub and was very happy. But the can I bought said "White" and I got almond. Now after 4 years I want to re-coat but all the stores have is that hard white. I need the almond color but I can't find it. June 28, 2014
Great!! Even for commercial use I am a supervisor at a townhouse community with over 400 tubs and showers. We use to use a company to reglaze are tubs and showers. They are over $400 to do it now. So i had my guys try the brush on white epoxy and it looks better then the company. Just prep it good and take your time. It takes about 48 to 72 hours from start to finish depending on how many coats witch is the same amount of time if the company does it. But it is well worth it and saves so much money and prevents my guys from replacing the whole thing. Homedepot in my area cannt get it in stock fast enough with me buying them out every week. You just have to follow the directions, have some smarts and take your time. I just wish i could find the brush on in bisque. I cannt wait to get the spray on and try that. VERY GOOD PRODUCT!!!! GREAT PRODUCT!!! I did this on my tiled walls in the bathroom and it came out great. If you take your time and do what the directions say you will be fine. Yes some spots ran on me, so it looks a little like paint. But I turned pink tiles into glossy white. Couldn't be happier. I am even doing this on my floor to see if this will be adequate as well for a cheap fix. May 3, 2014
